Design Coat™

Design Coat™ is a trademarked product of SteriPax Incorporated. This proprietary coating process precisely applies the heat seal coating/adhesive on Tyvek® in a custom pattern based on the tray flanges (only where the lidding will be sealed to the tray).

Advantages of this pattern-seal coated product are as follows:
Application - can be applied to 2FS, 1059B or 1073B Tyvek® or paper structures.
Breathability - up to 10X faster than a coated material
Clean Peel – fiber free peel with up to 2 lb. seal strengths
Versatile – coating pattern can be configured for almost any tray seal shape/design
  • Higher porosity for sterilization outgassing
  • Compatible with most forms of sterilization
  • Available in roll stock, die cut lidding and pouches 

Steri-Strong™

Steri-Strong™ is a trademarked product of SteriPax Incorporated. This proprietary coating process precisely applies the heat seal coating/adhesive on to medical grade paper structures.

Advantages of this pattern-seal coated product is as follows:

Application -  Wide range of uncoated paper thicknesses – 80 gsm to 117 gsm (reinforced or unreinforced)
Excellent puncture resistance – in some cases equal to other types of materials used for medical device packaging
Breathability – up to 10X faster than a coated material. Higher porosity for sterilization outgassing.
Clean peel – fiber free peel with up to 2 lb. seal strengths.

  • Compatible with most forms of sterilization.
  • Flat, matte surface provides a white contrast which enhances the quality/appearance of multi-color printing.
  • Paper availability from numerous sources, both domestic and foreign, for consistent availability and stable pricing.

SteriVent™

SteriVent™ is a trademarked product of SteriPax Incorporated. This proprietary product provides an economical alternative to medical device packaging by reducing the surfaces that are breathable.

Materials – Foils, Polyester, Polyethylene and Nylon Laminates Clear/Transparent, White or Silver
Styles – Peelable and non-peelable options available
Versatility – Can be used in standard FFS machines as well as wrapping machines.
Simplicity – Utilizes non-breathable films that are “vented” and covered with a bacterial barrier.
Rapid Outgassing – The large vents release trapped gasses and moisture quickly from the post-sterilization process.
Transport – The vented design of this product provides equalization during air pressure changes.
