LIDDING

Lidding produced with various heat-sealable materials are available for thermoformed trays produced with PETG, PVC, HDPE, PE, HIPS and RPET. All materials listed can be printed.

Lidding Materials

Coated Tyvek® - superior puncture resistance, microbial barrier, and low particulate generation
Coated Paper - lower puncture resistance and microbial barrier than Tyvek®, low moisture resistance and higher particulate
Foils - some foils can be used for lidding when a moisture barrier is required
Films - some films can be used for lidding when visibility into the package is required

Sterilization  Compatibility


Compatible with most sterilization methods (material dependent)



Lidding Shapes & Features

Lidding can be produced in square cut or custom die cut formats.
Special features such as peel tabs and perforations can be incorporated into the initial design of the die cut lidding.
Graphic design assistance and printing is available.
